Wanda articled with Alberta Justice where she received extensive court room training in family, criminal and civil law. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2000. Wanda then returned to Calgary where she joined Montoute Ross and practiced Family Law exclusively for 4 years. In 2004, Wanda joined the family law firm Grobman Kachur before she moved on to Kirk Montoute Dawson LLP in 2006.

Wanda has practiced Family Law exclusively since her bar call and devotes a great deal of time to enhancing her skills and training in the area. She is a member of the Association of Collaborative Family Lawyers, the Canadian Bar association family division and the Calgary Bar Association. She is dedicated to resolving disputes cooperatively and effectively using a variety of methods including collaborative law, mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences and litigation. Wanda is also a Family Law Mediator and has extensive training using Alternative Dispute Resolution methods. Wanda is constantly striving to find solutions for her clients so that there is little negative impact on their families, both emotionally and financially.
