Personal Information

Cindy Marshall, who joined our firm in June of 2009, is a bilingual (French and English) lawyer from Thompson Manitoba. She has an undergraduate degree from Brandon University in Music and French Literature as well as a Baccalauréat en Droit from the Common Law en Français program at Université de Moncton in Moncton New Brunswick.

Her legal experience began while working as a hearings officer at Citizenship and Immigration in Vancouver British Columbia and articling and practicing law at the Department of Justice in its Legal Excellence Program, in Winnipeg Manitoba. While at the Department of Justice Ms. Marshall gained valuable legal experience in the areas of Immigration Law, Tax Litigation, Civil Litigation and Criminal Prosecutions.

In July 2004, Ms. Marshall moved to Calgary to try the sport of Bobsleigh and made the Canadian National Team. Along with that change, Ms. Marshal made the move to private practice, ran her own firm for three years, and practiced primarily in Family Law.

In the past several years, Ms. Marshall has developed a fondness for helping clients who are going through the litigation process in all aspects of the Provincial Family Court as well as the Court of Queen's Bench Family section. Her passion and dedication for family law enable her to provide high quality, well-reasoned and realistic legal advice to her clients.
